KEEP, Hold, Donate, Toss
It is inevitable that many get the spring-cleaning bug, begin projects, organize closets, and hire someone to do a premiere cleaning from top to bottom, like Clean and Pink. Weather you hire some one or do it yourself keep a few simple things in mind… finish what you start. Take one project at a time. Don’t get the cleaners to organize a closet, cleaners should focus on cleaning. That is a big enough job on its own. When it’s time to clean out closets, garage, laundry rooms, playrooms, or other areas of the house, look at the item and say to yourself……Should I keep this? Should I hold on to this (if the answer is yes, remove items from that room and put it in area close to the back or front door so it doesn’t hang around another year and is closer to donating that storing). Should I donate this? Should I toss this? These 4 questions make the process go quickly. Take the “donate” pile to the car for swift delivery or call a local vendor for pick up. Spring cleaning can go swift, don’t hang on to items of clothing or toys that have not been used or warn in over 12 months. Chances are it won’t be worn in another 12 months.
