Fall in love with this recipe that is not only perfect for this week, but fun for all of those that you love. P.S. on 2/21/22 I will even share some cleaning tips in case you make a mess. What you will need: 12 strawberries, 7 ounces of baking chocolate, and 24-36 wooden sticks. First of all, WASH YOUR STRAWBERRIES. Strawberries are some of the most pesticide-laden fruits out there especially if they were commercially grown. Even if you home grow and pick them yourself, you want to make sure they are cleaned of bacteria. To do so, fill a large bowl or clean sink with four parts cold water to one part vinegar and soak the berries for 20 minutes. Rinse the berries in cold water afterwards for a few minutes and pat dry with paper towels. Now that they are clean, pinch the stem and leave off each strawberry. Slice each strawberry lengthwise 3 times. Then, cut a V-shape off the tops to make a heart shape. Insert a stick into each piece and set aside. With a double boiler, or a homemade version, slowly melt the chocolate over low heat. Once it is melted, pour into a nice bowl and serve with your strawberry lollipops and enjoy!
So, you and your significant other are dipping strawberries into chocolate fondue and you make a mess on the carpet. Don’t worry, Clean & Pink has got you.
To remove melted chocolate from the carpet, first remove as much of the chocolate that you can with a paper towel. Then add some cold water to the stain. Use some dish washing detergent, such as Dawn, rub it into the stain and let sit for a few minutes. Rinse with cold water again and the chocolate stain should be gone.
